I have
had the pleasure to learn yoga from Esther Myers, Monica
Voss and Sandra
Sammartino. I have been teaching yoga here in Langley for
9 years and have developed a strong commitment to the yoga
path. I continue to explore, learn and teach yoga in an
intelligent and passionate way. I
lead classes for beginner to advanced students, pregnancy,
restorative, and children as well as many weekend
workshops. I also direct and teach the Yoga Teacher
Training program at Yogaroots. My vipassana
meditation practice stems from teachings at Spirit Rock Meditation
Center. I live in Langley with my husband and two children.

I feel very connected to the earth and enjoy spending lots of time in my garden.
I love to share the knowledge I have gained from my training programs with others.
I have completed over 1000 hours of teacher training programs and have been leading
classes for 6 years. Tara and I became partners in 2004, I fell in love with
the method she taught and had to learn more about it. Now I enjoy teaching this
method with elongation, 'the wave of the spine' and a deep connection to the
ground. I feel yoga to be a very personal and spiritual practice, yet something
that everyone can do....how wonderful is that!

Yoga
is a transformative process that has filled my life with joy and
energy. I pursued a lifelong interest in
yoga by attending Yogaroots Teacher Training, and was
certified in June 2008. I have had the pleasure to teach
in a local gym, recreation centre, at home and now at
Yogaroots. I find yoga to be challenging, creative and
an opportunity to connect mind, body and spirit with
the beauty within. The end result? A healthy spine,
breath awareness, grounding and a step towards
awareness of every awesome moment of being alive. |

I
have always been passionate about wellness, nature and heathly living.
Balance is my motto, and to accomplish it I have cherished sports
and the outdoors, family and friends, meditation and contemplation.
I began practicing yoga in 1999 and was immediately captivated and
decided to go deeper by enrolling in Yogaroots 500hr Yoga Teacher
Training, graduating from the program in June 2008. In spring 2009
I discovered Laughter Yoga. The impact on myself was so great I decided
to train with Farah Moolji Nazarali and graduated as
a Laughter leader in September 2009. The inner self, body
and the breath, not to forget laughter, can teach us this sense of
clarity, wellness, openness and freedom. That sense of fullfillment
is what I enjoy sharing with my students. |

I
have been practicing yoga for many years and completed
Yoga Teacher Training with Tara Blake in August 2006. My wish as a yoga
instructor is to assist students with stress management and relaxation
techniques, help to improve strength and flexibility to enhance physical
well-being, and to improve self-awareness and confidence.
My yoga journey so far has been a path of discovery for me…discovery
of myself, and a richer appreciation for my surroundings
and all living things. I feel fortunate to be able to share my understanding
and to contribute to a peaceful and respectful
yoga community.
